Teatro dei Venti is a theater company that has created shows and realized projects combining creativity and community towards an effective social cohesion since 2005. Their works have toured Italy, France, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Spain, Romania, Lithuania, Germany, Montenegro, Argentina, Taiwan, India. They hold permanent workshops in the prisons of Castelfranco Emilia and Modena, in collaboration with Emilia-Romagna Coordination for Prison Theatre. They promote projects of International Cooperation (Mozambique, Serbia, Senegal) in the social field and projects in the Mental Health field in collaboration with Department of Mental Health of Modena. They've curated the organization of Trasparenze Festival since 2012, with the aim of giving voice to contemporary creativity, to the languages of independent theater and the enhancement of new spaces. They are currently involved in three projects funded by Creative Europe, aimed at the artistic production and creation of good practices for theater in the social field at European level.
Some of their main partners are MIBACT, Emilia-Romagna Region, ATER Foundation, the Municipality of Modena, the Modena Foundation, ARCI, The Theatre-in-Prison Network Emilia Romagna.
